FIREARM AND AMMUNITION TEST STAND
Gun Testing Lab OÜ presents to you a test stand for evaluating short‑barreled and long‑barreled firearms. The stand enables objective measurement of the following firearm and ammunition parameters without human influence:

Angular size of a group of hits of bullets fired from pistols and rifles;

Matching the weapon's sighting settings to the actual bullet trajectory. This applies to optical, mechanical, and collimator sights.

Recoil when using different cartridges and different recoil compensators;
-
The difference in the sizes of hit groups when using different cartridges;
-
The difference in the sizes of hit groups when using different recoil compensators, silencers and sound moderators;
-
Initial velocity of bullets;
-
The influence of barrel heating on the size of the hit group.
Based on the test results, you will receive complete data for using the ballistic calculator to calculate the trajectory of bullets.
The stand also allows, based on measurement results, to adjust the sighting devices in accordance with the actual trajectory of the bullets.
TEST STAND OPERATION:
The stand is based on the Rifle Master Tester Mega 2 installation from the company Rensom Rest International (USA) and includes the following components:

Steel platform weighing 260 kg, on anti-vibration supports;

"The rifle master tester mega 2" installation manufactured by "Ransom rest international" (www.ransomrest.com);

"The master series pistol rest" testing device manufactured by "Ransom rest international";

Adapter for mounting the device for testing pistols "The master series pistol rest";

Chronograph "Garmin Xero ® C1 Pro";

Remotely controlled target that allows aiming with a 1mm movement step;

Video aiming recording system based on a video camera with 10x optical zoom;

Remote trigger system for rifles;
-
Remote trigger system for pistols;

Recoil measurement system.
The Rifle Master Tester Mega 2 mount allows any type of rifle to be mounted rigidly relative to the rails. Under recoil, the rifle moves along with the mounts and rails on bearings, ensuring the weapon recoils under the force of recoil.
The "Master Series Pistol Rest pistol testing device is mounted to the guides using an adapter. It allows pistols to be mounted on support bearings along with the guides, maintaining freedom of movement around the device's axis during recoil and back.
The Garmin Xero ® C1 Pro Chronograph records the muzzle velocity of rifle and pistol bullets.
The remote trigger system eliminates direct human interaction with the weapon when firing a shot.
A video aiming system based on a video camera with 10x optical zoom. A remotely controlled target allows aiming with 1mm movement. The image captured through the sight is displayed on a computer in real time, allowing for video recording of the shots.
